Series worth watching

I think we already had a thread somewhere like this, but I just can't seem to find it again. If you do link it here :>

Let's start a new list of series you like to watch and tell us why.

Comedy/Sitcoms
Lately I like Modern Family more and more because it juggles with a lot of stereotypes and has so many unexpected turns. I just like to laugh :>

Science Fiction
Warehouse 13 and Eureka While Eureka deals with a lot of science Warehouse is a little more fantasy but sometimes with a historical background. A little humor and also some action.
Doctor Who is still among the best series out there as well. Again a good mix of humor and science, here and then some action but always a good eccentric main character.

Science Fiction
When I lost Stargate by the cancelation of Universe which was never as good as SG1 and Atlantis I started watching Sanctuary which is also nice.

Sitcoms
I guess I don't need to meantion The Big Bang Theory or How I Met Your Mother

Drama
Which kinda astonished me lately was Breaking Bad. I usually don't really like this genre, but this series is more than great.

SPY, new British comedy. Quite good. :thumbup:
2 Broke Girls, actually quite funny and the blondee is tall :thumbsup:
TERRA NOVA, new sci-fi. Medium+. :)

And of course the old school comedy stuff like The Big Bang Theory and Rules of Engagement.

Star Wars Clone Wars is worth watching in HD. :!:

Travel/Adventure "Documentary"
departures. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Departures_%28TV_series%29
It's a travel-series made by some guys I met in Canada earlier this year. It's a about three friends travelling around the world documenting everything they do. Although it is some kind of documentary their style is a lot different, it really delivers the feel of "friends travelling and having a good time" instead of having the usual "sterile" style of documentaries. Definately worth watching!

hahaha how to begin....

Sitcoms/Comedy
Science Fiction
Drama
  • Bones :if you like house or similar then take a look.
  • Breaking Bad :statrs little slow but it becomes awesome.
  • Californication : Sex, drugs and rock & roll. It wond disappoint you.
  • Dexter :
  • Skins : Important: the original from UK is the good one ;)
  • Prison Break : Awesome.
  • Friday Night Lights : Awesome plot, and awesome actors. One of my favorits for sure, The way it's film and how ators do make it a very good serie, may at fist u will think u are no iterestet but if you give and opportunity you won't be disappointed, I promise.
Fantasy
  • Game of Thrones :I have read the books and I love it, the serie is a very good adaptation of the first book, the second season is comming this spring
I feel like I'm forgeting something... I'll edit if i remember xDD
I have seen all of that so if you have any question just ask. :D
