trek

YAWR only a few days moar! :D
who else is re-watching all the old star trek movies to be ready for the big bang next week? :D
atm i kinda use the last free minutes of my time to go through them. SO weird! when i was a little kid i used to watch star trek with my mum (she was like a major trek fan) .. and now watching the movies.. when i start them it's like i've never watched them before, but when the story unravels i slowly remember what is going to happen etc :D kinda scary to see what bullshit the brain still remembers after YEARS.. and then there are things about uni i learned only a week ago and i can't remember a bit..

anyway next week im going to the cinema with a friend, my sister, her friend and my mum to watch the new star trek movie :D
the thought still feels kinda weird. i mean as a child i knew my mother was like a huge trek fan (and i thought it was cool :D), but now, when being "old", just ->realizing<- your mum was not a fan but a sci-fi-geek oO maaan that creeps me out :D
when we showed her the trailer she was like "omg i think i know how the story goes let me show you the possible books" :D

so how about you?
i assume gunnie already set up his tent in front of the biggest cinema around to get the ownage-tickets ;D (at least if i recall correctly ;) )

Well i wouldn't give too much about the other movies, since this one will be a little out of context :D If you need to get into the universe again it might just work. But i would rather read then spend 900 minutes (approx :D). I don't even know whether i want to watch it, but i guess the fact, that it is unlucky any other trek makes it worth watching it.

well.. i think the experience of seeing sylar playing spock already boosted the movie to: "AWESOME" :D (i mean at least you can make fun of the movie, even if its bad :D)

-> EPIC! <-that movie rocks you shitless! one of the best made movies i've ever seen! good story (though a bit contradicting with future events, but i don't
want to spoil anything so i stay quiet :D), looks like a sci-fi movie should look like, feels like star trek, and really IS star trek. they REALLY paid attention to the details, so that movie just OWNS!
go see it, DO NOT download it, you really don't want to miss THAT movie on a BIG screen with kick-ass-sound!!! believe me!

well i thought it would be crowded, too. but in stuttgart that movie only was played in a "smaller" room and it still was far away from being sold out oO
