Tribes Ascend is the 4th game of the Tribes franchise. Currently in development by Hi-Rez Studios nimbleMinds is already participating in the closed beta-stage. It is planned to be free to play, therefore the financing is based on gold for classes and probably ingame items and boosters for the experience you get to spend on upgrading the class you are playing. If you preorder now you get access to the closed beta with gold and a booster for 30 days.
